Privacy and Confidentiality
The INFANT study is based at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) Research Institute. We are committed to keeping your information safe and confidential. We follow the rules set out in law about their collection and use. We follow CHEO’s privacy policies and procedures, the relevant parts of which are summarized below.
Information provided to us may be used for the following purposes:
- We will use your name and email address only to contact you about your eligibility for the INFANT study
- We will use the information you provide about the location and expected date of birth of your child to provide information about the study at a time when you can enroll
You have the right to:
- Request access to your personal health information
- Request a correction to your personal information if it is incorrect
- Withdraw your consent for uses and disclosures indicated above by contacting us using email, telephone, or regular mail as noted below
